General Project Goals

The general goals of the project to support and develop educational effectiveness in higher education SDEE institutions are:

1- Infrastructure development in line with modern methods of teaching and learning, including cooperative learning and self-learning.

2- Developing strategies for teaching and learning with the participation of stakeholders.

3- Developing existing educational programs in accordance with adopted academic reference standards, compatible with quality assurance requirements, and approved by the National Authority for Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

4- Developing teaching and learning methods to include non-traditional methods that are compatible with modern learning systems through training and workshops.

5- Activating the program quality system (starting with description, evaluation, benefiting from feedback, internal and external review, preparing the program report, developing and implementing an improvement plan) to raise the efficiency of the practical, applied and societal system of scientific content.

6- Increasing the participation of faculty members/supporting staff/ students in activating the educational program quality system.

7- Developing assessment methods and examination systems to ensure the achievement of the targeted educational through the application of curriculum maps, in addition to ensure justice and non-discrimination.

8- Increasing the satisfaction of students, faculty members and community parties about the level of educational effectiveness.

9- Participating in annual forums at the level of contacting institutions in the participating universities to disseminate good practice in various fields and publish events of meeting, statements, electronic information and paper publications.

The expected outputs from the implementation of the project to support and develop educational effectiveness in higher education SDEE institution are:

1- A study shows the gap between the current statuses of quantitative standards in the educational environment and their fulfillment after the completion of the project.

2- A well-developed educational environment that allows the provision of educational programs with referenced academic standards that verify the specification of graduates.

3- Competencies and experience that have been trained and qualified to carry out planning, implementing, follow up and evaluation.

4- Developed strategic plans to serve the field of teaching and learning that have been prepared and implemented by the colleges that have projects.

5- A mechanism activated in the educational institution to track the extent to which the targeted educational outcomes are achieved according to matrix of outcomes and courses in the program and appropriate evaluation methods ( curriculum maps and examination maps).

 6- Studies that measure the satisfaction of students and beneficiaries with the educational environment, teaching, and learning methods, courses, exams and other indications of educational effectiveness.

7- Direct and indirect cooperation protocols between the concerned faculties, the productive and service sectors, and civil society regarding the development of the educational process and academic programs.

8- Studies measure the satisfaction of the concerned parties with the specifications of graduates that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market before and after the project.
