Information Technology Unit Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Updating and activating the electronic library with scientific production.

2- Holding protocols related to information technology.

3- Management and continuous updating of the college website.

4- Follow up on all information technology related projects.

5- Ensure the security and safety of information, data and provide protection programs for them.

6- Holding periodic seminars and workshops regarding the unit’s work.

7- Providing electronic services for students and college employees through websites and online portal.   

8- The executive director of that the unit has all necessary authorities to run the executive work, including contracting the scientific and administrative departments of the college within the framework of authorities entrusted to him by the unit’s board of directors.

9- Attending college council sessions to present the activities, achievements and recommendations of the information technology unit.

10- Representing the unit and participation in conferences, seminars, workshops and training courses in the field of information technology.

11- Forming the administrative and organizational structure of the unit and defining functional tasks of all unit members.

12- Meeting periodically with unit members.

13- Technical and administrative supervision of the unit’s employees.

14- Representing the units before other bodies.
