– Give the student a basic knowledge about obstetric & gynecologic problems, their diagnosis, providing first aid measures of emergency cases and provide optimal nursing care for non-emergency ones.

أ.2- Describe  etiology, clinical picture, pathogenesis, diagnoses and complications of common and life threatening health conditions affecting women during pregnancy, labor, postpartum and menopause such as bleeding in early and late pregnancy, eclampsia, puerperal sepsis ,infertility….etc .

أ.3- Recognize different health and non-heath benefits of family planning methods.
