The Ethical Characteristics of Nursing Profession:<\/span><\/h3>\n

First, the patient and the nurse:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1- Providing nursing care<\/strong><\/p>\n

2- <\/strong>\u00a0Taking into account the priorities when providing nursing care on a professional basis<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- Dealing with the patient as a human being<\/strong><\/p>\n

4- Inform the patient or whomever he calls from his close relatives about the nursing diagnosis of his condition and his participation in decision-making<\/strong><\/p>\n

5- Preserving the patient’s dignity and secrets<\/strong><\/p>\n

6- Helping the dying patient and his family to cope with the dying state<\/strong><\/p>\n

7- Commitment to general safety principles when providing nursing care<\/strong><\/p>\n

8- Defending the principles, rights and interests of the patient<\/strong><\/p>\n

9- Cooperating with colleagues and members of the health team in assessing their role<\/strong><\/p>\n

Secondly, the nursing specialist and his colleagues: –<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1- <\/strong>The nurse practitioner builds and maintains a cooperative relationship with his colleagues<\/strong><\/p>\n

2- The nursing specialist takes appropriate measures to protect the patient<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- Mutual respect and good handling and communication<\/strong><\/p>\n

4- Counseling and advice<\/strong><\/p>\n

5- Accept\u00a0 the counseling and advice<\/strong><\/p>\n

6- The exchange of scientific knowledge and benefit from information<\/strong><\/p>\n

7- \u00a0<\/strong>Helping for the benefit of patients<\/strong><\/p>\n

8- Authorization and assignment of specialized or qualified colleagues for the task<\/strong><\/p>\n

9- Accept authorization and assignment from colleagues.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Third, specialist nursing and practice: –<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1- <\/strong>The nursing specialist bears personal responsibility and accountability for his nursing practice<\/strong><\/p>\n

2- The nursing specialist maintains his health condition and does not expose himself to danger<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- The nursing specialist distinguishes his competence and his ability to perform any nursing procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n

4- The nursing specialist at all times maintains standards of personal illness<\/strong><\/p>\n

5- The nursing specialist in providing care makes sure that the most advanced scientific techniques and methods are used<\/strong><\/p>\n

6- The nursing specialist maintains the property of the institution that he works<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fourth, specialist nursing and profession: –<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1-The nursing specialist assumes the <\/strong>greatest<\/strong> role in defining and implementing acceptable standards for nursing practice<\/strong><\/p>\n

2- <\/strong>The nursing specialist has an active role in developing professional knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- <\/strong>Contribute to professional development by applying modern science<\/strong><\/p>\n

4- Self-development by participating in scientific seminars and conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

5- Not to do any acts that harm the profession<\/strong><\/p>\n

6- Participation in union work<\/strong><\/p>\n

7- Collaborate with colleagues and all members of the health team<\/strong><\/p>\n

8- Commitment to the approved laws, regulations and work standards<\/strong><\/p>\n

9- Dealing with a spirit of trust and mutual support for the team<\/strong><\/p>\n

10 – Defending the profession of nursing and nurses <\/strong><\/p>\n

11- Defending, protecting and serving the union<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fifthly, the nursing and community specialist: –<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1- <\/strong>Improving and creating a social environment that provides nursing care<\/strong><\/p>\n

2- \u00a0<\/strong>The nursing specialist shares the responsibility with the community in supporting \u00a0the needs of the community<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- The nursing specialist shares the responsibility with the community in protecting the natural environment<\/strong><\/p>\n

4- Contribute to realizing \u00a0the various health needs of society<\/strong><\/p>\n

5- Taking into account the customs and traditions followed in the local community<\/strong><\/p>\n

6<\/strong>– <\/strong>Protecting society from practitioners who do not have the necessary scientific and practical competence<\/strong><\/p>\n

7- Spreading health awareness and providing advice to different groups of society<\/strong><\/p>\n
