2-   هدف المقرر :

  By the end of this course the student is expected to gain basic knowledge and skills essential to recognizing nursing role by facilitating adaptation of patient to illness, promoting optimum health and function as a member of the health team to use the nursing process, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care accorging to patient needed in actutely and chronically ill in health care setting .
  المستهدف من تدريس المقرر :
  أ‌-        المعلومات والمفاهيم : a-1) Describe  etiology, clinical picture, pathogenesis, diagnoses and complications of common and life threatening health conditions affecting patients with different age groups.

 

a-2) Identify the common diagnostic and laboratory test necessary to establish diagnosis of common illnesses.

 

a-3) Identify determinants of health and principles of different levels of prevention for different age groups and settings.

 

a-4) Describe principles of nursing management of common and life threatening problems in different age groups.

 

a-5) Compare and contrast general information about disease process with individual patients response.

  ب – المهارت الذهنية : b-6) Utilizes a range of appropriate technique to assess health determinants including physical , mental , and social aspects .

 

b-7) Deliver safe nursing care to various categories of patients in different health care settings through standardized protocols and  evidence based guidelines.

 

b-8) Execute appropriate nurse care independently and within a work group .

 

b-9) Conduct appropriate health education to patients , utilizing appropriate methods and tools according to patients and the situations.

b-10) Document all steps of the provided nursing care .

 

a-11) Assess the outcome of all delivered nursing activities.

  جـ – المهارت المهنية الخاصة بالمقرر : c-1) Utilize information generated from assessing nursing activities to formulate nursing diagnoses .

 

c-2) Compose appropriate nursing care planes taking into consideration available workload and availability of resources within the context of a holistic care approach .

 

c-3) Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and  setting priorities of actions and making decisions .

 

c-4) Utilize a  range of teaching / learning principles in conducting educational activities to patients .

 

c-5) Synthesize clinical evidence in handling problems related to management and patient care .

 

c-6) Use teaching  and  learning principles in implementing educational activities to patients and subordinates.

 

c-7) Integrate and correlate information gathered from appropriate sources

  Nursing management of patient with urorological disorder       

– Anatomy ,physiology and assessment of urorological system

– Inflammatory disorder of urinary system
