Director of Development of Student Assessment and Examination Systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Ensuring that the exams set are in accordance with the university’s examination system.

2- Issuing statistics and periodic reports on the status of assessment and measurement in the college and sending them to Quality Assurance Unit at the college and coordinating the work of question banks for academic courses.

3- Determining training needs in the field of assessment systems and examinations at the level of academic programs in the college.

4- Organizing and implementing training courses in coordination with the measurement center and university’s Evaluation.

5- Work to spread the culture of measurement and evaluation in the college.

6- Active communicating with Quality Assurance Unit at the college to develop examination and evaluation systems.

7- The executive director of that the unit has all necessary authorities to run the executive work, including contracting the scientific and administrative departments of the college within the framework of authorities entrusted to him by the unit’s board of directors.

8- Attending the meetings of the college council to present the activities, achievements and recommendations of the unit of Measurement and Evaluation.

9- Representing the unit and participating in conferences, seminars, workshops and training courses in the field of developing assessment systems and examination.

10- Forming the administrative and organizational structure of the unit, selecting faculty members with experience, defining the functional tasks of all unit members.

11- Meeting periodically with unit members.

12- Technical and administrative supervision of the unit’s employment.

13- Representing the unit and before other bodies.

14- Preparing the annual report on the performance of the unit and submitting it to the board of directors in preparation for its presentation to the college council and Measurement Center and university’s Evaluation.
