Equity: Providing nursing care according to the patient’s condition, regardless of gender, religion and nationality.

Independence: respecting the patient and enabling him to choose methods of care

Truthfulness: the obligation to tell the truth, avoid lying and deceiving others

Defense: protect the patient’s rights on his behalf
